Union Minister Accuses Opposition of Spreading False Narrative about Union Budget 'Viksit Bharat-2047'

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal claimed that the Union Budget has laid a strong foundation for 'Viksit Bharat-2047'. He accused the opposition of spreading a false narrative to mislead the public, particularly regarding financial packages to states ruled by non-NDA parties. The minister also emphasized the importance of peace for development in Jammu and Kashmir.

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Saturday stated that a robust foundation has been established in the Union Budget aimed at achieving the 'Viksit Bharat-2047' goal. He asserted that the opposition is attempting to create a 'false narrative' to mislead the public.

Meghwal refuted claims made by opposition parties that the government is giving step-motherly treatment to states ruled by non-NDA parties, citing the financial packages to Bihar and Andhra Pradesh as examples. He argued that such propaganda did not succeed in the recent Lok Sabha polls and will fail again.

The Union minister also addressed the spike in terror activities in Jammu, emphasizing that peace is essential for development and investment. He revealed that the Central government is working on strategies to eliminate terror and ensure safety in the region, while infrastructure projects in Jammu and Kashmir are set to receive a significant boost from the Union Budget.
