Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday addressed the growing concerns regarding Maharashtra's allocations in the 2024-25 Union budget. Responding to criticism from opposition parties, Goyal highlighted various schemes and investments designated for the state.

Speaking at a press conference, Goyal, who represents Mumbai North in the Lok Sabha, stressed that the budget aims at a developed and inclusive India. He assured the public of Maharashtra’s significant funding, particularly in infrastructure.

Highlighting key investments, Goyal mentioned 12 upcoming industrial parks, substantial railway funding, and a deep-sea port in Vadhavan. He asserted the budget's strategic long-term vision to build a strong Indian economy.
