Goods Train Derails in Bhubaneswar, No Casualties Reported

A goods train derailed in Bhubaneswar's Mancheswar station yard at 1.35 am on Monday. Fortunately, there were no casualties or damage to properties. The incident caused the cancellation of two trains and rescheduling of six others. The affected line was cleared by 5.05 am.

In the early hours of Monday, a goods train derailed in Bhubaneswar, as reported by the East Coast Railway (ECoR). The incident took place at 1.35 am in the railway yard of Mancheswar station.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or property damage due to the derailment. However, the mishap led to significant disruptions in the train schedule. Two trains were cancelled, six others were rescheduled, and the Puri-Rourkela Express was short-terminated in both directions.

The line affected by the derailment was cleared for the movement of trains by 5.05 am, ECoR confirmed in its statement.
