Tragedy Averted as Bihar Sampark Kranti Express Bogies Get Detached

A potential disaster was prevented when the engine and two bogies of the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express got detached in Samastipur district. The incident, which luckily resulted in no injuries, occurred around 10 am. The train resumed its journey after an hour, and experts are investigating the cause.

A major tragedy was averted on Monday when the engine and two bogies of the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express detached from the other coaches in Samastipur district, officials confirmed. The incident happened at approximately 10 am between Khudiram Bose and Karpoori Gram railway stations.

"The Bihar Sampark Kranti Express was moving at a slow speed when this occurred. The train resumed its journey after an hour of reconnecting the bogies," stated Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway, Sharswati Chandra.

A team of experts is set to investigate the cause behind the detachment, while train traffic on the route experienced some delays, the CPRO added.
