Modi Urges Domestic Industry to Seize India's Golden Opportunity

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday urged domestic industries to seize the 'golden chance' presented by global interest in India. At a CII post-Budget conference on 'Journey Towards Viksit Bharat', Modi emphasized the government's unwavering commitment to prioritizing national interests.
India is currently growing at 8%, and Modi expressed confidence that India would soon become the third largest economy globally, improving from its fifth position. He attributed this ascent to the fundamental policies and investments driven by the government, which are fostering global development.
Modi highlighted various Budget measures targeting the MSME sector, known for generating millions of jobs. He encouraged the domestic industry to partner with the government and compete in global markets, stressing the government's clear intent towards achieving a USD 5 trillion economy and 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047.
