Hero MotoCorp Expands Operations to Philippines
Hero MotoCorp has begun its operations in the Philippines, marking a strategic expansion. Partnering with Terrafirma Motors Corporation, the company will produce and distribute its motorcycles from a new assembly unit in Laguna. This move aims to strengthen Hero MotoCorp's global presence.
Hero MotoCorp has officially commenced operations in the Philippines, significantly marking its strategic global expansion. The announcement was made on Thursday, emphasizing the company's effort to bolster its presence in international markets.
Collaborating with Terrafirma Motors Corporation (TMC), a reputable member of the Columbian Group of Companies, Hero MotoCorp will oversee the assembly and distribution of its products and services in the Philippines. This partnership is expected to rapidly establish Hero MotoCorp's footprint in this crucial market.
An extensive assembly unit and parts warehouse spanning over 6,000 square meters have been set up at TMC's facility in Laguna, Philippines. The facility boasts an annual production capacity of more than 150,000 units and will manufacture models including the Xpulse 200 4V, Hunk 160R 4V, and the Xoom 110 scooter. Hero MotoCorp is already present in 48 countries, with tech centers in India and Germany, and manufacturing facilities in India, Colombia, and Bangladesh.
