New Delhi: Galgotias University is set to host a special exhibition in partnership with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to mark the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon's South Pole. Titled the 'Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition,' the event will take place from August 1 to 3, 2024, at the university's Greater Noida campus.
The exhibition is expected to attract over 10,000 school students from surrounding areas, offering a unique opportunity to engage with space technology through interactive displays, satellite models, launch vehicles, and sessions with ISRO scientists. Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, expressed enthusiasm, stating, 'This collaboration with ISRO presents a significant opportunity for our students and community to engage with cutting-edge space technology.'
Paresh Sarvaiya, Senior Scientist and Incharge of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition at SAC-ISRO, emphasized the importance of making space science accessible to young minds.
