IndiGo to Launch Daily Direct Flights Connecting Chennai and Jaffna
IndiGo will begin direct daily flights between Chennai and Jaffna starting September 1. This marks Jaffna as IndiGo's second destination in Sri Lanka. Over 21,000 passengers flew this route last year. Additionally, IndiGo offers 30 weekly flights from India to Colombo, according to Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales.
IndiGo is set to start daily direct flights between Chennai and Jaffna from September 1, opening up its second destination in Sri Lanka after Colombo.
The airline will offer non-stop daily services in response to growing demand, having served over 21,000 passengers on this route in the last nine months.
Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo's Head of Global Sales, noted that the airline also operates 30 weekly flights from four locations in India to Colombo.
