Ricky Kej Faces Third Business Class Downgrade on Air India
Grammy award winner Ricky Kej complained on social media about Air India downgrading his business class ticket for a Mumbai-Bengaluru flight due to a last-minute aircraft change. The airline cited technical reasons for the switch to an all-economy configuration and offered refunds for the inconvenience.
On Saturday, Grammy award-winning musician Ricky Kej expressed his frustration on social media after Air India downgraded his business class ticket for a Mumbai-Bengaluru flight. The airline attributed the downgrade to a last-minute switch to an all-economy aircraft configuration due to technical reasons.
Kej criticized the airline for its lack of customer service, noting that this was the third such incident he faced in one year. He emphasized that while operational issues can occur, inadequate resolutions are unacceptable for a reputed brand.
An Air India spokesperson apologized for the inconvenience and stated that all business class passengers were seated in the first row of the reconfigured aircraft, with one seat kept vacant in the middle. Refunds for the downgrades have been initiated.
