Rajasthan Allocates Rs 250 Crore for Animal Husbandry Development

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced the creation of the Chief Minister's Animal Husbandry Development Fund with a Rs 250 crore allocation to support cattle farmers. The fund aims to promote, conserve, and develop animal husbandry, with increased grants for dairy breed development and solutions for male cattle issues.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday revealed that the state government will establish the Chief Minister's Animal Husbandry Development Fund with an initial allocation of Rs 250 crore, designed to benefit cattle farmers.

Speaking to a delegation from the Dewasi community, who gathered to express their gratitude, Sharma emphasized the crucial role of cattle farmers in the state's economy and outlined the government’s budgetary support for their empowerment.

The fund will focus on promoting, conserving, and developing animal husbandry, raising the grant amount for dairy breed development from 50 per cent to 75 per cent, and addressing issues related to male cattle. Sharma expressed confidence that the budget's provisions would help realize the dream of a developed Rajasthan, fulfilling the needs of the state's eight crore population.
