CCI Greenlights Major Acquisition Deals Including Brookfield's Purchase of ATC Telecom Infrastructure
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Brookfield's acquisition of ATC Telecom Infrastructure, along with three other significant deals. These include the purchase of special purpose vehicles by Highway Infrastructure Trust, the restructuring of Re Sustainability Ltd, and the acquisition of Vastu Housing Finance Corporation Ltd by 360 ONE Private Equity Fund.
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given its nod to Brookfield's proposed acquisition of ATC Telecom Infrastructure. The substantial deal, which was announced in January, has been met with regulatory approval.
In addition to this, the CCI has also cleared three other noteworthy transactions. This includes the Highway Infrastructure Trust's purchase of 12 special purpose vehicles from PNC Infratech Ltd and PNC Infra Holdings. The restructuring of Re Sustainability Ltd, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures has also been approved, enabling the demerger of the municipal solid waste and waste-to-energy businesses to Ramky Sustainability Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Furthermore, 360 ONE Private Equity Fund's acquisition of Vastu Housing Finance Corporation Ltd has received the green light, as confirmed by separate posts from the regulator on X.
