Hunger Pangs, which operates the Burma Burma chain of restaurants, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $2 million from several family offices.

The company, which currently runs 13 Burmese cuisine restaurants and achieved Rs 100 crore in revenues for FY24, aims to triple its footprint over the next three years, according to co-founder Chirag Chhajer.

In other news, Juelo, a dating platform marketed as a 'singles club,' has raised $2.5 million from the founders' family, friends, and professional networks. Notable backers include Ramakant Sharma of Livspace and Ruchi Deepak of Acko.

Meanwhile, Hyperbots, an AI company focusing on finance and accounting, has garnered $2 million in seed funding from Kalaari Capital, Sunicon Ventures, and Athera Venture Partners. The funds will support the expansion of its go-to-market strategy and the development of proprietary generative AI models.
