VMPL Purnia (Bihar) [India], August 8: In a concerted effort to bolster the educational prospects of underprivileged children, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) teamed up with local philanthropists, Rahul Timber, to host a major charity event at Madhya Vidhyalaya Uffrail in Bihar. The initiative sought to distribute essential educational and food supplies to aid these children in overcoming daily challenges.

Founded in 1957, Madhya Vidhyalaya Uffrail has long been committed to providing education and sustenance to economically disadvantaged children. Presently, the school extends support to over 300 children aged between 3 and 15 years from impoverished families, facing severe shortages of learning materials and food. The event, helmed by Priyesh Singh, was made possible through the enthusiastic efforts of volunteers including Vipul Singh, Kishan Anand, Sanjay Kumar, Akash Raj, Aman Raj, Suraj Shrivastav, and Amit Kumar.

The event commenced at noon, with children receiving an array of essential items. Madam Archana, the school principal, extended heartfelt thanks to the participants for their generous contributions. Volunteers distributed notebooks, geometry boxes, pencils, snacks, and other necessities, and engaged the children in board games, fostering a spirit of joy and companionship. With 200 children in attendance, the event not only provided crucial supplies but also a nutritious lunch, making it a resounding success. The engagement with volunteers provided warmth and hope, leaving a lasting impression on the children.

Reflecting on the event, Priyesh Singh commented, "Witnessing the joy on these children's faces fills us with immense pride. This initiative is profoundly meaningful, and we aspire to continue supporting more underprivileged children, paving the way for brighter futures." The collaboration between IYDF and Rahul Timber underscored a firm commitment to aiding underprivileged children and highlighted the vital role of community support in educational growth. IYDF aims to maintain such partnerships to bring help and hope to more children in need.
