Bengaluru Set to Host Ninth TiE Global Summit Amid Robust Startup Growth

Bengaluru's role as India's startup hub is highlighted by its selection as the venue for the ninth TiE Global Summit. With projected GDP growth of 8.25% by 2035, Karnataka's policies and support for women-led startups foster an attractive ecosystem for global investors. The event will take place from December 9-11 in Bengaluru and December 12 in Mysuru.

Bengaluru's stature as the epicentre of India's startup ecosystem has earned it the honor of hosting the ninth TiE Global Summit (TGS), Karnataka’s IT-BT and Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge announced on Thursday.

Kharge emphasized that Karnataka's robust policies and support for events like TGS make it an ideal destination for entrepreneurs and investors. Highlighting the state's focus on women's entrepreneurship, he revealed an upcoming grant program for women-led startups offering up to Rs 50 lakh with zero stake requirements.

M B Patil, Minister of Commerce & Industries and Infrastructure, also introduced the second edition of the VentuRISE Global Startup Challenge. The four-day TiE event will convene over 25,000 entrepreneurs from 50 countries, featuring master classes, investor pitches, and networking sessions under the theme 'Putting Entrepreneurship First'.
