Heartwarming Aid Event Brings Joy to Utkala Balashram Orphanage

The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) and Blossom Salon organized an aid event at Utkala Balashram orphanage, bringing essential supplies and joy to the children. Volunteers distributed educational materials and treats, creating a heartwarming atmosphere and fostering hope for the future.

CUTTACK, Odisha (India), Aug 12: In a heartwarming display of love and compassion, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) teamed up with Blossom Salon and Makeover Linkroad to host a special aid event for the children of Utkala Balashram orphanage on August 10. The event aimed to provide essential supplies and bring joy to the young residents.

The meticulously planned event was spearheaded by Sharmila Mishra, the founder of Blossom Salon and Makeover Linkroad, alongside a dedicated team of volunteers, including Choudhary Sambit Mishra, Kamlesh Yadav, Soudamini Tripathy, Sumitra Hembram, and Suchitra Barik. Their commitment was evident as they distributed educational supplies, including school bags, notebooks, and pens. To add to the day's festivities, treats such as soan papdi candies, samosas, chutneys, curries, and energy drinks were served, and the children received sports equipment like badminton sets and kerks.

The highlight of the day was the shared moments between the volunteers and children over a communal meal, filling the atmosphere with warmth and joy. Sharmila Mishra expressed her satisfaction, saying, 'Seeing the smiles on the children's faces filled us with immense happiness. This event was a reminder of the impact that love and care can have.'
