Cummins India Appoints Shveta Arya as New Managing Director
Cummins India has announced the appointment of Shveta Arya as its new Managing Director, effective from September 1, 2024. Arya, who has extensive experience in various industries, will replace Ashwath Ram. She currently leads the power system business and will continue to do so post her new appointment.

Power solutions technology provider Cummins India on Tuesday announced the appointment of Shveta Arya as its new Managing Director, effective September 1, 2024.
Arya will replace Ashwath Ram, who will continue serving the company until August 31. Cummins India's board has also appointed Arya as an additional director and Managing Director (Designate) effective August 8.
Arya, who currently leads the power system business for Cummins India, will continue to oversee this portfolio post her new appointment. A graduate of IIM Ahmedabad and Delhi University, Arya brings over 20 years of experience in various sectors, including automotive, travel, financial services, and telecom. She joined Cummins in 2016 and has a notable career with firms like Thomas Cook, Kearney, and Infosys.
