A London-bound Air India flight carrying 354 passengers returned to Mumbai on Wednesday morning due to a pressurization issue in the cabin, as reported by a source. The Boeing 777 aircraft landed safely back in Mumbai.
Air India flight AI-129, which had departed from Mumbai at 8:36 am, made its return at around 11:30 am following the technical issue reported by the pilot.
In an official statement, Air India confirmed that the flight made an air-return for precautionary checks. The airline has made alternative travel arrangements for passengers and is offering full refunds and complimentary rescheduling options.
