Cognizant's New Hyderabad Campus to Create 15,000 Jobs
IT major Cognizant inaugurated a new campus in Hyderabad that will create approximately 15,000 new jobs. Inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the campus covers nearly one million sq ft. Reddy assured support for Cognizant's expansion, aiming for the company to have one lakh employees in Hyderabad.

Cognizant, a major player in the information technology sector, inaugurated its new campus in Hyderabad on Wednesday, pledging to create around 15,000 jobs. The expansive facility, spanning nearly one million sq ft, was formally opened by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Reddy, who assured the firm of full government support for further expansion, highlighted the significant contribution of Cognizant to the local economy. He noted that the current employment by the company in Hyderabad stands at approximately 57,000, a substantial portion of its 2,40,000 workforce in India.
The Chief Minister also expressed his vision for the company to contribute to a forthcoming 'fourth city' on the outskirts of Hyderabad, solidifying Cognizant's presence and future growth in the region. Reddy emphasized the state government's commitment to transforming Hyderabad into the largest hub for Cognizant in India.
