Madhya Pradesh Aims High: CM Yadav's Vision for Growth

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav aims to increase the state's share in India's economy from 4% to 5% in five years. Announced on Independence Day, the plan includes missions targeting youth, women, farmers, and the poor, transforming the state into a sports hub and a stronger economy.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has set an ambitious goal: to boost the state's contribution to India's economy from the current 4% to 5% in the next five years.

Speaking at the 78th Independence Day event, Yadav revealed plans to launch four missions targeting youth, women, farmers, and the poor beginning November 1. Additionally, the state aims to become a sports hub and bolster tourism. Over Rs 485 crore has been invested to provide access to AI and new technologies, transforming 55 district colleges into PM College of Excellence.

Other initiatives include filling vacant government posts, with appointment letters issued to over 11,000 young individuals, and setting up 60 industrial units to create 17,000 jobs. Further, Rs 11,000 crore have been deposited into the bank accounts of women under the Ladli Behna Yojana. The government also aims to double the state budget, boost irrigation projects, and enhance power availability.

Yadav lavished accolades on local athletes for their international achievements, including Vivek Sagar's Rs 1 crore prize. Indore's consistent ranking as India's cleanest city and the state's collective effort to maintain its cleanliness record were also highlighted.
