TN CM to Inaugurate Rs 51,000 Crore Industrial Projects

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will lay the foundation stone for new industrial projects worth Rs 51,000 crore on August 21. Investments worth Rs 17,616 crore will also commence production. These ventures are expected to generate over one lakh jobs. The state has formed a committee to ensure committed investments are actualized.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin is set to lay the foundation stone for new industrial projects valued at Rs 51,000 crore on August 21. Minister for Industries T R B Rajaa announced that investments worth Rs 17,616 crore from various multinational companies will also commence commercial production during the event.

'With continuous follow-up on the investments committed by the companies, Rs 17,616 crore worth of investments will see the inauguration of new projects while the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for additional commitments totaling Rs 51,000 crore,' Rajaa told reporters.

Following the completion of these projects, more than one lakh new jobs are expected to be created in the state. The Tamil Nadu government has formed a dedicated committee to ensure these investment commitments are pursued and actualized, a practice that distinguishes it from other state governments.
