The inaugural day of the Fire & Security India Expo (FSIE) in Mumbai was marked by an impressive attendance of over 4,000 individuals, spotlighting the latest innovations within the industry. Co-hosted by Nova Exhibitions & Conferences and the Fire and Safety Association of India (FSAI), the event brought together key stakeholders including government officials, industry leaders, and experts at the Jio World Convention Centre.

A key highlight of the expo was the Grand Inaugural, attended by Anil Bhaidas Patil, Maharashtra's Minister of Relief & Rehabilitation and Disaster Management. Patil's presence underscored the government's dedication to advancing fire, safety, and security measures nationwide. Other prominent attendees included Santosh Warick, Chief Fire Officer & Advisor, MIDC & Director MFS, and Ravindra Ambulgekar, Chief Fire Officer, Mumbai Fire Brigade. The Maharashtra Fire Services, in collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar, conducted an exclusive workshop focusing on the safety challenges posed by electric vehicles (EVs), drawing participation from fire officers and security personnel across over 20 states.

The expo also hosted a robust security conference addressing the latest trends and best practices in risk mitigation. Sessions included discussions on emerging threats, safeguarding critical infrastructure, and updates to the national building code to better reflect the evolving fire safety and security landscape. A dedicated session on the national building code's revision was particularly well-received.

With participation from over 160 leading brands exhibiting their latest products and solutions, the expo provided a thorough overview of industry advancements. The Fire & Security India Expo has firmly positioned itself as a premier platform for innovation and networking in the fire and security sector, driving the momentum needed for further advancements.
