The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has enhanced packaging and export capabilities through e-commerce platforms, with Flipkart playing a pivotal role in accelerating these efforts. Speaking at an event, Adityanath underscored the importance of leveraging design, technology, and market access to uplift the state's MSMEs.
The inauguration of new warehouses in Unnao and Varanasi marks a significant milestone in the state's ODOP scheme, which has garnered global recognition. These facilities are expected to foster competition, empower local entrepreneurs, and create substantial job opportunities.
Flipkart has committed to supporting Uttar Pradesh's digital transformation journey, aiming to generate thousands of employment opportunities and help the state achieve its goal of becoming a USD 1 trillion economy by 2027 through initiatives like Flipkart Samarth and Samarth Krishi.
