Sunken Ship Containers Washed Ashore at Satabhaya Beach

Two shipping containers from a sunken cargo vessel washed ashore on Satabhaya beach in Odisha's Kendrapara district. In a dramatic turn of events, two shipping containers from a sunken cargo vessel washed ashore on Satabhaya beach in the Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary, Kendrapara district, Odisha.

Officials reported that the containers, owned by ITT Lines Private Limited based in Kolkata, were lost at sea after the MV ITT Puma sank on August 26 while en route from Kolkata to Port Blair.

Authorities, including police and forest officers, have cordoned off the area and are investigating the contents of the containers. Amid safety concerns, the public has been advised to keep a distance from the site.
