Mahindra's SUV Sales Surge by 24% in September
Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd reported a 24% rise in domestic SUV sales to 51,062 units in September 2023. The overall sales, including commercial vehicles and three-wheelers, totaled 87,839 units, marking a 16% year-on-year growth. The company is set to begin bookings for the Thar RoXX.

Auto major Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) Ltd on Tuesday reported a significant increase in SUV domestic sales, recording a 24% surge to 51,062 units in September compared to the same month last year.
The company had sold a total of 41,267 SUVs in the domestic market in September 2023, according to an official statement.
Overall sales, including commercial vehicles (CVs) and three-wheelers, reached 87,839 units in the past month, reflecting a 16% year-on-year growth, the statement said.
The company reported sales of 36,777 CVs and three-wheelers last month, which included 3,027 units sold in overseas markets.
“We sold 51,062 SUVs in September, achieving a growth of 24% and 87,839 total vehicle sales, marking a 16% growth. With the onset of Navratri festivities, we will begin bookings for the much-awaited Thar RoXX on October 3,” said Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.
