StandardAero Poised for a Big IPO Debut

StandardAero, a U.S.-based aircraft maintenance provider, is preparing for one of the year's biggest stock market debuts by pricing its initial public offering (IPO) above the indicated range.

The Scottsdale, Arizona firm, backed by buyout giant Carlyle, is close to securing investor backing to price its shares at $24 each, higher than the initially targeted $20 to $23 range.

With this pricing, StandardAero and some of its existing shareholders will sell 60 million shares, raising $1.44 billion and valuing the company at around $8 billion. This would be the largest U.S. IPO since Lineage raised $4.45 billion in June.
