Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan visited Jalna on Wednesday, meeting with local industrialists, political leaders, government officials, writers, and sports figures.

The governor's visit aimed to engage with local communities and address their concerns, particularly focusing on irrigation issues. Radhakrishnan noted a significant disparity between the region's industrial and agricultural development.

Jalna has become a notable center for steel and seed production, as well as silk textiles. Former Union minister Raosaheb Danve and other political figures met with the governor to discuss these issues.
