BharatPe and nasscom Forge Path for Rural Women Empowerment in Maharashtra
BharatPe Group and nasscom foundation have launched an initiative to empower 1,500 rural women entrepreneurs in Maharashtra with formal registration and market linkages, enhancing financial stability and business growth. This initiative aims to drive financial inclusion and sustainable livelihoods for women in the region.

In a significant move aimed at bolstering rural women entrepreneurship, BharatPe Group has teamed up with the nasscom foundation. This collaboration is set to transform the lives of 1,500 women entrepreneurs in Maharashtra's districts such as Ahmednagar, Beed, and Kolhapur, among others.
The 'Formal Registration and Digital Market Linkage Program for Women Entrepreneurs' spearheads this initiative, providing rural women with the resources necessary to formalize and expand their businesses. Of these, 250 women are receiving targeted market linkages, thereby enhancing their business opportunities and financial stability. This program underlines BharatPe's dedication to fostering financial inclusion through its CSR endeavor, BharatPe Cares.
Nalin Negi, CEO of BharatPe, emphasized the initiative's role in BharatPe's mission towards financial empowerment, while Rostow Ravanan, Chairperson of nasscom foundation, highlighted its alignment with economic independence for rural women. The program includes essential training and access to government schemes, fostering sustainable self-reliance and business growth.
