Swiggy, the food delivery giant planning its initial public offering (IPO), has unveiled a new feature named 'International Login' that caters to its international clientele. This feature allows individuals residing in countries such as the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK to place food orders for their families and friends back in India.
Leveraging Swiggy's quick commerce platform Instamart, international users can now shop and book tables via Dineout. Payments for these services can be processed using international credit cards or UPI options. The much-awaited feature aims to simplify surprise celebrations for loved ones during festive times.
In a strategic move, Swiggy recently submitted its revised draft papers to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its IPO. The offering includes new equity shares worth Rs 3,750 crore and an offer-for-sale of 18.52 crore shares by current investors. Market sources estimate the IPO's total value to exceed Rs 10,000 crore.
