Maruti Suzuki India introduced the updated Dzire sedan on Monday, available with petrol and S-CNG engines, further cementing its hold in the Indian automobile market. Having sold 27 lakh units nationwide, the new Dzire is set at a competitive price point, ranging from Rs 679,000 to Rs 10,14,000 for the high-end AGS model.
The latest Dzire variant is accessible through the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe scheme, with subscriptions starting at Rs 18,248 per month. It arrives with a host of new color options including Alluring Blue and Gallant Red, alongside existing favorites like Arctic White. The compact sedan promises enhanced style with features such as an electric sunroof, a 360 HD View camera, Suzuki Connect, and LED Crystal Vision headlamps.
The car's fuel economy stands out, achieving 24.79 km per litre in petrol models, with S-CNG models reaching an impressive 33.73 km per kg. Additionally, its Auto Gear Shift variants deliver 25.71 km per litre. Maruti Suzuki's senior executives have praised the model for embodying modern technology and luxurious design, positioning it against rivals like Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze in the competitive sedan segment.
