AptarGroup, a global leader in drug dosing and dispensing technologies, has unveiled plans to build a new pharmaceutical plant in Taloja, India. The facility aims to strengthen the company's position in India by enhancing production capacity for its innovative inhaler valves and spray devices.
President of Aptar Pharma India, Sanjay Kapote, emphasized the plant's role in meeting rising demand and explored the potential for acquisitions in the local pharmaceutical space. The new plant, covering 4400 m2, will complement Aptar's existing Mumbai facility, augmenting their market presence through strategic growth and partnerships.
This expansion reflects Aptar's commitment to the industry's promising future, incorporating state-of-the-art technology to serve diverse markets, including pharmaceuticals, beauty, and personal care, globally.
