Delhi Metro Implements New Year's Eve Safety Measures
On New Year's Eve, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will prohibit commuters from exiting Rajiv Chowk station after 9 pm to ensure public safety. Entry will remain open, and no QR tickets for this station will be issued via the mobile app from 8 pm onwards.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that, for public safety, commuters will not be permitted to exit Rajiv Chowk station after 9 pm on New Year's Eve.
While entry will still be permitted, DMRC has advised caution and requested passengers to plan their journeys accordingly. Free flow of traffic is a priority, according to Principal Executive Director Anuj Dayal.
From 8 pm, QR ticket issuance for Rajiv Chowk via the mobile app will be halted, aiding crowd management efforts. Full metro services throughout the network will proceed as scheduled.
