Carborundum Universal Reports Lower Q3 Net Profit But Sees Revenue Growth

Carborundum Universal Ltd saw a decrease in net profit for Q3 2024, reporting Rs 37.61 crore, down from Rs 111.98 crore the previous year. Despite the drop, total income rose to Rs 1,271.83 crore. Capital expenditure reached Rs 202 crore, while an interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per share was declared.

Carborundum Universal Ltd, a leading manufacturer in the abrasive industry, has announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 37.61 crore for the October-December 2024 quarter.

This marks a reduction from the Rs 111.98 crore reported in the same quarter last year. Nonetheless, the company's revenue increased to Rs 1,271.83 crore.

The firm invested Rs 202 crore in capital expenditures over nine months and declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per share to its stakeholders.
