Tunisia finds plenty of opportunities to invest in Ghana

Some Tunisia investors are currently in Ghana to explore business opportunities in varied sectors. Players in the Ghanaian business community has urged Tunisian investors to take advantage of Ghana's stable socioeconomic and competitive environment.
In that scenario, the investors from Tunisia will require entering into a partnership with their Ghanaian counterparts to establish multinational companies that can profit Africa's over 1.2 billion consumers. The recent business in Accra was consisting of government officials, manufacturers, exporters, importers and traders from Ghana, who encouraged their Tunisian counterparts to take advantage of the numerous programmes introduced by the government to industrialise the country.
Organized by Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) in association with Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC), the forum was intended to deepen the bilateral trade and investment relations between Ghana and Tunisia.
According to Graphic Online, Catherine Abelema Afeku, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Ghana had plenty of untapped business opportunities, especially in the tourism industry, which if well exploited, could yield high returns. She clarified that there was a huge market for accommodation in the tourism hospitality industry in the country where quite a number of first-class hotels were in high demand.
"Ghana stands out as a beacon for safe investment in Sub-Saharan Africa because of its strong gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast and stable political environment conducive to business," she further added.
