Uttar Pradesh's Global Workforce Initiative Boosts Economy

In an ambitious move to strengthen its economy, Uttar Pradesh has sent 5,600 workers to Israel for employment, with plans to deploy 5,000 more. Labour Minister Anil Rajbhar shared this update in the Legislative Assembly, noting the Rs 1,000 crore annual foreign currency inflow.

Responding to Samajwadi Party MLA Prabhu Narayan Yadav, Rajbhar revealed plans to meet demands in Germany and Japan, with 5,000 nurses needed in Germany and 12,000 caregiver roles in Japan. The state is processing applications and working to send skilled workers to fill these positions.

Uttar Pradesh's employment strategy includes organizing job fairs, promoting overseas opportunities, and collaborating with institutions like the NSDC. Over the past two years, more than 4.75 lakh candidates have been employed through various initiatives, reflecting the government's commitment to reducing unemployment.
