Reliance's RCPL Expands Campa's Reach with New Guwahati Bottling Plant

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG division of Reliance Industries, has expanded its Campa beverage portfolio in Northeast India with a new bottling plant in Guwahati. Officially opened by Assam's Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the plant underscores RCPL's contribution to local industrial and economic development in partnership with Jericho.
The facility, spanning 6 lakh sq. ft., stands as one of the largest beverage production sites in the region, with an initial capacity exceeding 10 crore litres for carbonated drinks and 18 crore litres for packaged water. The affordable pricing and global quality standards of Campa products were highlighted as key advantages during the launch event.
Ketan Mody, COO of RCPL, emphasized the milestone's significance, mentioning that the plant would create new job opportunities, thus fostering economic growth. Jericho Foods' Ashis Agarwal expressed pride in joining this venture, reinforcing Assam's position as a premier manufacturing hub through innovative and quality beverage production.
