A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi district when a bus carrying pilgrims back from the Maha Kumbh overturned, leaving 19 people injured.
According to Dhirendra Singh, SHO of Kada Dham police station, the accident involved travelers from Sagar and Damoh districts in Madhya Pradesh. After a sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, they were headed to Chitrakoot via Ayodhya.
Preliminary reports suggest the driver dozed off and lost control near Lehadri Khateeb village. Emergency medical services were swiftly deployed, prioritizing the severely injured, with twelve passengers moved to a district hospital for urgent care.
