At a Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railways meeting, Prasad presented a letter urging chairperson CM Ramesh for an impartial inquiry and public release of the report.
The stampede raised questions about the lack of crowd management and safety measures, with Prasad questioning immediate cash payouts to victims' families and lack of official accountability.
