Advantage Assam 2025: Catalyzing Investment with Major MoUs
Star Cement Ltd is set to invest Rs 3,200 crore in Assam for a new clinker and grinding plant. Alongside, Matheson Hydrogen Lvt Ltd and Global Health Ltd have signed MoUs for significant projects in the state. A total of 164 investment proposals across 15 sectors were announced at the Advantage Assam summit.

Star Cement Ltd has announced a significant investment of Rs 3,200 crore to establish a cement clinker and grinding plant in Assam. The MoU was signed at the conclusion of the Advantage Assam business summit, as confirmed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Notable agreements were also inked with Matheson Hydrogen Lvt Ltd for Rs 1,500-crore hydrogen and steam generation plant, and Global Health Ltd for a Rs 500-crore project. Two non-financial agreements were signed with ITE Education Service, further bolstering the state's development efforts.
The summit has been a major success, securing 164 MoUs for investment proposals across 15 sectors, highlighting the state's thriving business environment and future prospects.
