The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) ranked second on a single day for punctuality in Indian Railways, maintaining a 95.65% on-time rate for 138 trains. This success stems from the Control Office Application Integrated Data Logger system. NFR aims to boost efficiency with further technological advancements.

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) announced that it achieved second place in train punctuality among all zones of Indian Railways on a particular day.

According to an official release, the NFR operated 138 mail and express trains with 132 running on schedule, boasting a 95.65% punctuality rate. The Control Office Application Integrated Data Logger system plays a pivotal role in this success by providing real-time monitoring and coordination, noted Chief Public Relations Officer Kapinjal Kishore Sharma.

NFR is set to further enhance its punctuality and efficiency with upcoming technological upgrades, aiming for advanced automation and improved train scheduling for a seamless passenger experience.
