The Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI), recognized by the Indian government's Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, is collaborating with KRAFTON India, and supported by Invest India, to host the first-ever Esports Conclave 2025 on April 1 in New Delhi. This significant event will bring together senior government officials, policymakers, industry leaders, and leading esports professionals to discuss the future trajectory of esports in India, enhance investment prospects, and encourage international partnerships.

India's largest esports company, NODWIN Gaming, has aligned with PEFI, KRAFTON India, and Invest India to facilitate the conclave. Themed 'Forging the Path to Global Leadership,' discussions will center on advancing India's roadmap for international esports tournaments, strengthening its game development ecosystem, and promoting the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision. Key topics will also include investment stimulation, job creation, and infrastructural expansion. An Esports framework recommendation will be presented to the government to establish India as a global leader in competitive gaming.

As esports continues its rapid expansion in India, the need for a robust regulatory framework becomes evident. The conclave aims to address this by involving all stakeholders—government, policymakers, and industry. Dr. Piyush Jain, PEFI's Secretary, emphasized the event's significance in promoting policy discussions and opportunities for Indian esports talent on the global stage. Industry leaders like Sean Hyunil Sohn of KRAFTON India and Akshat Rathee of NODWIN Gaming highlighted the conclave's importance in building a sustainable, competitive ecosystem and positioning India as a formidable force in global esports.
