Tragedy in Uttarkashi: Helicopter Crash Leaves Six Dead
A helicopter crash near Gangnani in Uttarkashi killed six people and injured one. The crash involved a private company's helicopter carrying seven individuals to the Gangotri temple. The lone survivor, Maktur Bhaskar, was airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh. Investigations into the crash have been initiated.

A helicopter en route to the Gangotri temple crashed in Uttarkashi, killing six, including the pilot, and injuring one, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
The accident victim tally comprises five women and the pilot. Survivor Maktur Bhaskar, 51, was airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh after sustaining serious injuries.
In total, seven people embarked on the ill-fated flight that pivoted from Dehradun's Sahastradhara helipad to its destination, the Kharsali helipad. Upon crashing, the helicopter plummeted into a 200-meter gorge. Official probes are underway, and the Uttarakhand government has ensured comprehensive aid to those impacted by the incident.
