A minor disruption unfolded at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on Tuesday morning, when a floor-cleaning machine accidentally fell onto a track. The occurrence momentarily halted a local train's movement.

The mishap occurred when a contractual operator lost control of the cleaning machine just as the train was approaching the platform at 11:33 am. A Central Railway spokesperson confirmed the train's delay lasted only five minutes before normal services resumed.

Thankfully, no injuries or damages were reported. Prompt intervention by security personnel and bystanders swiftly removed the machine, allowing immediate restoration of train services.
