Revolutionizing E-Transport: Servotech's Bold Move at Bengaluru Airport

Servotech Renewable Power System announced on Monday that it has secured an order from Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) for the installation of ultra-fast electric vehicle chargers at Kempegowda International Airport.
These chargers, with a capacity of 240 kW each, promise to improve the airport's e-transport operational efficiency, according to a statement from Servotech. The company stated that it would install ten ultra-fast direct current (DC) EV chargers specifically for airside operations, marking the installation as a pioneering EV charging hub in Indian airports.
The strategic placement of these charging stations within the airport premises is intended to facilitate seamless 24/7 airside electric vehicle operations, thereby reducing the airport's transport-related carbon emissions. Servotech Renewable will manage the supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and five-year maintenance of the EV charging station.
