A plane carrying 49 individuals has mysteriously vanished from radar in Russia's Far Eastern Amur region, officials reported Thursday. This alarming disappearance occurred during the aircraft's journey from Blagoveshchensk, situated on the Russian-Chinese border, to the town of Tynda.
Onboard were 43 passengers, among them five children, and six crew members, as confirmed by regional Governor Vasily Orlov. Authorities are initiating a search operation to locate the missing flight.
Local officials and rescue teams face an urgent challenge, amid challenging weather conditions, to resolve this troubling incident swiftly and ensure the safety of civilians involved.
