FIEO Partners with Amazon to Boost India's E-commerce Exports

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has announced a new collaboration with leading e-retailer Amazon. This partnership seeks to elevate the understanding and accessibility of export opportunities for Indian businesses through the e-commerce medium.
The alliance intends to establish a specialized task force aimed at shaping policy frameworks and providing infrastructure support. Notable efforts will include organizing workshops and training sessions, targeting sectors like home linens, health care, apparel, and handicrafts.
Small businesses, including artisans and manufacturers, are set to benefit from this initiative, using e-commerce as a springboard for international growth. Currently, India's e-commerce export market is valued at $2 billion, significantly trailing China's $350 billion.
