Air Canada Strike Resolution: Returning the Skies to Normalcy

Air Canada's unionized flight attendants have successfully negotiated an agreement with the airline, concluding the first cabin crew strike in 40 years.

The walkout, which began Saturday, interrupted the travel plans of hundreds of thousands of passengers and forced the airline to withdraw its financial forecasts.

Shares of Air Canada surged by 4% following news of the agreement. The airline projects that normal operations will resume gradually, with a complete return to schedule expected to take a week or more.
