The Taliban government in Afghanistan has conditionally agreed to the repatriation of Afghan nationals from Germany, a spokesperson for the German interior ministry reported on Monday.

The agreement stipulates that only individuals officially identified as Afghan nationals will be repatriated by air, according to the spokesperson.

The spokesperson clarified that Germany maintains solely technical contact with Taliban representatives, emphasizing that no further diplomatic relations are involved.
