Healthy snacking company Wonderland Foods announced on Thursday that it has secured Rs 140 crore in its first round of institutional funding to expand its presence in India's branded dry fruits and nuts market.

The investment round was led by Asha Ventures and British International Investments, a UK-based development finance institution and impact investor. The funding will be crucial in setting up a green processing facility, generating over 1,000 formal jobs, mainly for women.

Wonderland Foods' products are widely available across modern trade chains and top e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. The company's collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh focuses on a Rs 250 crore greenfield processing unit in Greater Noida, creating significant employment opportunities while enhancing India's food processing sector.
