The Himachal Pradesh Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has taken a firm stand in bolstering the state's rural economy.

At the inauguration of the new Deputy Director Animal Husbandry office in Dharamshala, Sukhu emphasized the government's commitment to the cattle-rearing community with new facilities worth Rs 3.21 crore.

Significant strides have been made in the dairy sector, with increased milk prices and transportation subsidies, alongside expansions in milk processing capabilities, leading to a sharp rise in MILKFED's daily milk procurement.
