In Prakasam district, a serious accident involving an APSRTC bus occurred on Friday, leaving 15 passengers injured, with six in critical condition, as confirmed by police sources.

The bus, which commenced its journey from Nuzividu in Eluru district, was en route to Srisailam carrying 24 passengers when it allegedly veered off the road following a sharp left turn.

Authorities suspect driver error as the cause of the mishap and have registered a case under Section 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, initiating a thorough investigation into the incident.
